periods

i went on the pill as my doctor wanted toregulate me as my periods stopped due to an eating disorder. im not anorexically thin, though i am considered underweight. however, yesterday i got my period back. but is this a 'fake' period as my doctor called it? i understand that i wont produce an egg or whatever, but does that mean if i come off the pill, that my periods will stop again? even if being on the pill and having fake periods, will this effect my fertitlity as it means that i do actulaly still have ammenhoreah? (speling>!) so i wont be able to get pregnant later on in life? or does going on the pill lessen that risk? im so confused.

Maybe you need to go back to your doctors and speak to him/her. Make a list of the things you want answers to. Hope everything works out for you
