Simply drinking rather more Lucozade should be all that you need.

However when I was in charge of first aid in a secondary school, I quite often had to find a source of sugar for diabetic pupils who were on the edge of a hypo. Ididn't both about brands. I just grabbed a can of any type of pop from the school tuck shop.

I've used orange juice too. You need something that easy to carry around

my late beloved mum always carried Werthers around with her.......then we discovered she was carrying around the sugar free kind......

clinic told my grandson to buy the small cans of coke they are about 3.5 inches high can't remember the quantity in each can .he is diabetic 1 and they did tyhe trick .

I always find fresh orange juice works quickly and I also find jelly babies or fruit pastilles help really quickly

My granddad always had cartons of OJ in the fridge.

I always carry Dextrose tablets. They suit me, hope you will find them useful
