Any advice on what might be the cause of a very painful heel. Its my OH who is having trouble putting it to the ground plus he says its very painful even in bed. It started about a week ago but is much worse rather than getting better.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Can I ask...is it constant pain or more painful after you've been sitting for a while?

After sitting down and then get up to walk...
