Name For Condition

Just wondering if there is an official name for the way I have been feeling lately. It's just sort of not not being really interested in much. It's hard to describe. I start to do things or watch a tv programme and just lose interest after a few minutes. Was taking a mild antidepressant a few months ago but came off it as I felt I was away with the fairies most of the time. Just was n't able to function properly. Would it be a delayed side effect maybe. It was a few months ago now and cant remember the name of the thing. (If I heard it again might click)
I have had SAD effects most winters but nothing to worry about but the time of year may be an attributing factor.
Just wondering though. I know it's not a serious complaint.
Thanks

Never heard of Acedia. Seems very apt though.
Hope it's not real depression. Seen my daughter suffer for years.
Had feelings similar to this before but not as severe. Usaually able to shake it off after a couple of days, a few tears and lots of tea and maybe some chocolate.
Thanks for the answers. It's nice to be able to put some sort of name to it.

Not really ummm. have had a bit of a time of it over the last few years, emotionally , financially and physically. Have a very good doc who has offered medical help and monitors me very well. Only took a short course of Anti depressants to help with the pain of diabetic neuropathy, possibibly. But came off after two months for reasons stated.
Just think it may be a bad case of winter blues.
