Does Anyone Remember Coty Wild Musk Oil?

I used to love this when I was a young girl and anyone who came near me used to question what the lovely fragrance was.

Sadly it was discontinued years ago and there's never been a product out there to compare.

Anyway I was in M&S just now and have a mooch around the make-up and notice that Joan Collins has her own cosmetics line. Low and behold she does a perfume (a bit pricey for a "sleb" fragrance - £50 for £50) but then I noticed it comes in the form of "essence" in a little bottle with a pipette at a reasonable £15 for 12mls. It's the closest thing to Coty Wild Musk I have ever sniffed. I think I'll toddle back and treat myself...

Are there any products you have loved that you wish they'd bring back?

Thanks for the info, used to wear it under daytime fragrance to turn them into a sexier night time version. The things I really miss are Jovan sex appeal for women ( very very effective) and the toiletry range of Hermes Caleche they only do an eau de toilette and an eau de parfum now and I like layering my fragrances.

Used to love 'Aqua Manda' back in the 60s, think it made a comeback a few years ago but didn't get any.

Ohhhh....I used to absolutely love Coty Wild Musk. But I only remember it as a spray. I was so disappointed when it disappeared from the shops.
I also loved another scent by Coty...Emeraude. it was an amazing green colour. I've seen it on Amazon...at about 10x what I used to pay for it.

I used to have a lipstick years ago that was a perfect colour for me. It was only a sample size, and when it ran out I couldn't find any more. I still keep looking, but no joy. Any other colour lippy makes me look like Aunt Sally.

aquamanda by Goya..on e bay but costs a fortune now..Vanilla Fields was another ! and Avon did a rose cream perfume pot which was just lovely in the summer

I don't think it did though...well not any more than any other perfume....I did love Meadowsong at the time but not sure I would now.

I remember it. I also used to love Pagan which I used all the time in my younger days. It came in a black box and was in a small bottle.

The first 'perfume' I was ever given, was Black Rose, may have been by Goya.
The one I truly miss is Sikkim, Mr F used to get me that, until it disappeared.

Lancome used to do a foundation called Macquidouceur and a lipstick called Rouge Absolu No 82. They were both amazing!

My mum worked in a pharmacy so she brought home loads of testers, I had the best equipped dressing table in my class. Loved Yardley cream eyeshadow. They came in a tiny ceramic pot with a bee sculpted on the lid. A rep gave her a bottle of Chanel no.5 she hated it so I had it. I was about 13 and it started my love of good fragrances.

My Nan and Mum both love Aqua Manda and it is lovely. I was pleased one day because I wear Joy and a little old lady stopped me in Debenhams and said she used to wear it too when she was younger and she'd recognised it, one of those lovely little moments you sometimes get with strangers. On a different note I can't stand the smell of Poison :/
