We were in town and he stopped to speak to OH. I didn't know him. After about five minutes I recognised his voice, then I knew who he was. I know him so well his kids cal me Nana as they don't have one of their own.
That was the worst example but I had a few more so I stopped taking them.

Jack.......I have been awake at night pondering over your query as to the difference in blood and dietary cholesterol.
Dietary cholesterol make little difference to you blood cholesterol because:
Although many foods contain cholesterol, it is poorly absorbed by the gut into the body. Therefore, cholesterol that you eat in food has little effect on your body and blood cholesterol level.
Most of your blood cholesterol is made in your liver.
Does that help?

I've been taking them for just over a year along with various other pills after a small heart attack. I was a little constipated for a short while, but that wore off - reading all the leaflets that came with the packets, the Statins were the only one that had constipation as a side effect. I'm on a high dose apparently, despite my pre HA levels being good. Have to keep the risk of blood clots down apparently.
Before statins...what did people do? Just carry on and live a decent life style or worry over what they would die of? It's down to..imo the kerapp they add to our food. Life is for living without worry. We all know what to do...choosing to do it is our choice. Imo leVe the statins alone. They are dangerous chemicals none of us need.
