Wonder if anyone else has the same quandry.

3 down & 34 across - the second Lord Protector ...etc. I have the answer as
Richard Cromwell.
However, 19 down - long bodied saltwater fish.....etc. I hav the answer as
conger eel, but the second E of eel is where the last L of Cromwell should be.

I'm confused - can't think of an alternative spelling for eel that would work
and everything else that connects is correct.

19d Conger EelS
Answers are correct.
Conger eelS - I think the clue should read -

Long-bodied saltwater fish that HAVE powerful jaws (6,4)

(not "...has...")
Is 19 a 6,3 answer or 9? Does porbeagle fit?
LIK Steve didn't give all the clue after fish......
19d Is 6 and 4. Probably Steve has mis-spelt.

Thanks Davemano. I clearly wasn't looking carefully enough at the number of letters required in the second part of the anwer.
