Mr bm has a very odd problem. He feels as if he has something up his right nostril. He's been working away this week (He normally works from home. I only mention this cos air conditioning?). Anyway towardthe end of the week he said he was constantly sneezing. He is not bunged up but the irritation up his nose is making his right eye stream and his headache. Ordinary anti histamines have not worked; nor has beconase spray. I do have some nasonex and some ceterixine dihydrocholride but they are mine.

Any suggestions please. Particularly sqad. He's so miserable:(

I wouldn't say that........I'm a happy chap usually....(just joking).

First thing that comes to mind is a nasal polyp up the right side of his nose.

" I do have some nasonex and some ceterixine dihydrocholride but they are mine. "

Go on, share them with him and if there is no improvement in one week then get referred to an ENT surgeon (NHS or Private)

Lol. Sorry sqad my grammar let me down. I didn't mean you ate miserable. You are normally a little ray of sunshine.

Thank you. I do appreciate your advice.
LOL...I knew what you meant.....;-)
It is not out of the question that a very small piece of food has in fact gone upward instead of downward when swallowing. This has happened to me and I have eventually blown it out of my nose, unless once or twice it happened to come down again and then I was at a small risk of ingesting it as it came close to entering the airway.

Sqad. Mr BM is much improved after taking the meds. Still a grumpy b***** mind. Thanks.
LOL...the grumpy ones are the sexiest............;-)
Feedback much appreciated.
Carry on with the nasal steroid spray.
Don't blow the nose vigorously because it can worsen the symptoms and even damage the nasal cavities. If the stuffy nose is different from the former one caused by common cold, you should consider the likelihood of nasal diseases and see a doctor as fast as possible. Medicines should be prescribed by doctors according to the symptoms.
