The Company is entitled to change its terms and conditions at any time and you only have a contract with them for 12 months. In the same way that you can decline to take out a new policy (because the conditions and/or price don't suit you) they can decline to insure you (because they do not like the risk).

It is a computer making the decision, there is nothing personal about it. Get online and spend a couple of hours searching the net, there are some good ones out there, if its cheaper to take a yearly plan out, then do it, if not go for the 2 or 3 week plan. I have found that the company 'OK To Travel' are very reasonable, I am 70 with a few health issues but have found their prices very good. Online at www.oktotravelinsurance.co.uk good luck.
