Had to go for an ultrasound at the hospital today, for a lump on my leg, (5cms X 3cms).
My imagination had run away with thoughts of soft tissue sarcoma, but thankfully the technician informed me that it just looked like a fluid filled lump.
Report goes back to my GP in about ten days.
Just wondering what happens next?
Not whinging V.
Just wondering what happens next.
For what it is worth, I have COPD, Crohn's disease, bad arthritis, and the cherry on top is the depressive episodes it brings.
But hey! This is not a *** contest. Is it?
Vetuste - I am so deeply sorry for your loss.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences.
That is awful.
No words can actually bring you comfort at the moment but I do hope your family will rally around you and support you in your grief.
As are my lovely neighbours like the Sikhs three doors along who provided food yesterday and my lovely Muslim neighbour who gave me hot chocolate and cheese muffins earlier, but a super lamb curry and dahl meal tonight.
Whatever the treatment enjoy the feeling of relief, that's the trouble with the internet, we tend to Google symptoms and scare ourselves. Years ago no one would have known about sarcomas, they are pretty uncommon.
