Period

I have a Minor Gynae Procdure on Tuesday but my body is determined to have a period. I’ve began spotting. If it carries on will I still be able to of bleeding is light.

If I take Mefenamic Acid will that lighten the flow or stop it? I’m on noriday aswell.

You don't say what the minor procedure involves ? PAP smear, insertion of coil?
Spotting shouldn't worry your gynaecologist and i cannot see that mefenamic acid will postpone our period.

I’m having abnormal cells removed Sqad.

Not as such Prudie, they said once before as long as was light they could do a smear just wondered if the same thing would stand.

I’ve been on Mefenamic Acid before and I was lighter on it for some reason even though it’s a pain relief. I’m hoping my pill will stop any heavy bleed. I can’t really postpone it as arranged swaps etc at work.

i dont know the answer but blooming periods! every time i have had a joint replacement i have come on. you have to take your knickers off and its just eerrgghh. i had to get a ale care assisstant to help e change my pad :(

That’s not good Bednobs :( I hate periods at the best of times. This one has been trying for 2 weeks - it’s still not sure.

No worries Sqad will see what happens over the weekend and I’ll call Monday and see what they say.
