We had a party at line dancing today. No alcohol their either. We each took some food to share with others. It was nice apart from having to dance to some incredibly boring Christmas songs.

♫ Feliz Navidad ♫...yawn!

At least I escaped having to dance to boring xmas songs Tills...
It was our office party last week although I wasn’t there, no booze at that either
There you go then. That's a bonus. :-)

Also managed to escape the group photo that will invariably appear on the S-O-T Foodbank webpage at some stage. :-)

That's me ^^^^
By the way, did you end up on the television, after you were filmed?
Question Author
Not up till now Tills. Apparently it was part of some documentary that was been made on foodbank usage. No one want to see some fat skinhead stuffing his face with sweets while apparently doing his bit to help the hungry :-(
I can't imagine a Christmas Party without booze.

In fairness, theres are a lot of 'special needs' people there that come in to help out. Couldn't really pile them with vodka and coke...

Might have livened things up a bit though ;-)
You never know...
I have been to lots of Christmas parties where no alcohol has been on offer, particularly those end of term, meet up in the staffroom dos.
Dad's erstwhile care home do put on a good party though. Lovely food and lots of drink available. I always used to go to that party on the bus so that Dad and I could have a Christmas drink together, just like the old days.
