whats on the menu for new years day.I am having
Chicken soup(home made)
chicken and ham pie,brussel sprouts,roast potatoes,onion rings and gravy(a bit of everyones fav.)
spotted dick and custard
plenty of wine and wet stuff.we are eating about 6.30/7pm.

He is having roasted gammon mashed potatoes sugarsnap peas and cheese sauce, I am having hot smoked salmon edamame beans and sweet pickled cucumber and radish

Cod loin, with hollandaise, baby potatoes and tender stem broccoli.

Roast chicken, which has just gone in the oven.

I had a little bit of a selection. Smoked salmon, Parma ham, duck & orange pate, mozzarella, fruits and chutney.

A variety of salad dishes (coleslaw, prawn cocktail, tuna pasta salad, mixed tossed salad) and some Cajun spiced wedges.

Roast Beef, home made yorkie puds, roasties, laionnaise potatoes ala late mum, broccoli and carrots. Black Forest Gateaux since my plans to make a trifle were sidelined.

I'm having Hairy Biker's Pork tenderloin Chinese style, with noodles and green veg - almost done, I am so starving for it now, the aromas are just wafting through the house mmmmmmm

COR wish I was yours lol. Mine is chicken thighs roasted with home roasted potatoes, carrots, sliced frozen beans and gravy.... Wish I'd made it simple now lol

Roast chicken stuffed with haggis, roast spuds, peas and sprouts. Christmas pudding and brandy sauce to finish.

I’ve still got a fridge full of nonsense, so I’m going through that before I shop.

Broccoli, chicken, small sausage, ball of stuffing, roast tatties n sum bisto

Roasted roots...swede, carrots, sweet potato, red onion, using up stuff, maybe with cauliflower and broccoli grills. Followed by fruit salad...long life orange juice, apples, bananas and oranges, also using up stuff.
Preceded by a couple of glasses of wet stuff Villa Maria Sauvignon Blanc, and margarita, also using stuff up.
I shall be glad to get back to normal food although the stuff I’ve used up has been very tasty.
