I'm currently sipping a glass of Lidl's excellent Vaucluse, although the 2 stores nearest us have now sold out and it's uncertain if they're going to be replenishing their stocks :-(

I have a bottle of Etienne Dumont Champagne chilling in the fridge. If I don't open that I'll just have an Opihr Gin with Fevertree Elderflower later.

What's your poison this evening?

I’m enjoying a few cans of strangely nice beer which my nephew and his gf bought me for Christmas. Just having a White Hag Little Fawn IPA.

Out for a meal at the moment, just Tash and myself, just ordered, G & T everytime for us.
Fosters. :-)
My favourite is red wine. Fizz I don't enjoy. Gin I don't enjoy. Elderflower is nice, but hardly poison. If you're offering, I'll take a glass of any chateau from haut medoc. Thank you.

Zacs, my husband reckons he's never heard of that one. He'll be looking for that now ;-)

Baldric, do you have a favourite gin? We went out last night to our new local and I had a Whitely Neil Quince Gin (I've had a bottle of it in the past) and it was absolutely lovely.

Doug, I think Talbot is a Fosters guy too if my memory serves me correctly.
A glass of lime juice - if that counts?

Atheist, there's one of my favourite reds on offer in Sainsbury's right now. It's an Amarone - called Pietro or something - and it's £15 (down from £17) and it's absolutely beautiful. Worth treating yourself to.
I am drinking Jacobs Creek which my son and his BF brought round earlier.

LB - that lime is crying out for some gin and soda ;-)

Might sound a bit naff but Gordons is always good, tend not to buy Tescos own, bit too sharp.
Water at the moment. Haven't got any wine in the house. Seriously thinking of giving it up. (wine) Just got some whiskey & Baileys left over from Xmas. I'll see later...
I'll be supping Tim Taylor's boltmaker, then finishing the evening off with a sneck lifter of malt whisky.
Whitely Neill Quince Gin very nice
Opihr Gin not so, too much cardamon
bombay sapphire i do enjoy
and caorunn gin is a very nice gin too
all with tonic ice and a slice but i did have a couple with russet apples as fruit in the gin which was nice

Gordon's is the one I'm not terribly keen on and that Gordon's Pink Gin is an abomination. I was given one by my cousin-in-law one night at their house and it took me about 2 hours to drink it. I like Beefeater and Larios (Spanish) but my favourites are Martin Miller's and Gin 22 from M&S.

Patsy, I like a whisky. I got OH a Japanese whisky for Christmas and it's really honeyed and has a gorgeous long finish.
CG, it’s by the White Hag Irish Brewing company. And most enjoyable I may add.

Melv - I had to Google that.

Zacs, my husband is a fan of IPAs and our new local is a proper real ale pub. It's really lovely in there. There's such a sense of community in there.
That’s nice. A good pub is essential to us.
I gave a bottle of Martin Millers as a Christmas present and the feedback was "lovely, very smooth".
On a Saturday night, after supper, usually a Highland Park or, if I am flush or lush, a Lagavulin. Tonight is an Adam's Ale as I started a dry four to six weeks last Sunday, so just coming up to the first week falling off the belt.

It's got an incredible purity, LB. It's made with Icelandic Water or something.
