Has anyone experienced either of these and if so how did it make you feel afterwards?

What is a gong bath
Thanx
I've done REST which is a form of flotation tank- they float you in about a foot of Epsom salt infused water so you float about in the dark for around an hour. Initially I found it really hard to switch off and my mind raced frantically, which was a bit weird, but now I can zone really well and it's really lovely and relaxing, like being asleep but wide awake and it's very nice. Totally recommend it.
Never even heard of Gong Baths :) x

Question Author

Question Author
sa'll the same thing i think
'Tis indeed, it's a warm, dark floaty pod, call it what you like really :)
'Adult Womb' perhaps...
Question Author
I really want to try one, the only negative side to them apparently is the hygiene so when you say warm, dark floaty pod i think of a bacteria producer but it's also heavily filled with salt to make a saturate soloution which is inhabitable
Question Author
so dano if the hygiene thing is real probs is to an extent
The one I use drains after each person's use, so you have fresh solution to float about in, dunno if they're all the same, but not much different to a hot tub really, and everyone piles in those. x
Question Author
Oh calico don't get me started on hot tubs :D They can be deadly you know
Question Author
Nothing can live in a saturated solution of salt and water.
We've always had a hot tub in the UK (well on and off, very rare that we didn't have one) and never had any issues and my better half just had one installed here since I'm spending a lot of time at home now. They're no issue if you attend to them every day and check your levels. x
