Best thing is to have a chat with your GP who will advise, and refer you if necessary, for some proper examination and treatment. The point is, if your lump is cancerous, it needs treatment right now to prevent matters getting worse, if it's not, it needs removing because it doesn't belong there. Either way, the doctor needs you to open wide.
This really is a matter for a qualified medical professional! However much you may not enjoy seeing a doctor -- and however much we may enjoy pontificating and researching and answering questions here -- there's little we can write that we could *guarantee* is right. The chances are it isn't cancer but one of many other things, but it isn't worth risking it, and not something we can tell from where we're sitting! Good luck - but go and see someone!
