Don't forget to have your resting metabolic rate measured regularly. That seems to require lots of lying down, which is medically regarded as 'a good thing', I believe.

I've added a recent picture as my avatar, I'm looking a bit flabby these days.
I don't think any of that is surprising. It is most healthy to treat your body naturally, without extremes. Being "superfit" or over-muscled, still puts a strain on the body. Humans (and animals) are best when toned and fit, but without excesses.
