Withdrew My Offer To Buy House....twice

landlord is fuming with me, 8 month ago i put offer in for apartment then withdrew offer after 5-6 weeks as i had eyes on something else but that fell through an all.

last week landord was selling one of his other apartments and i made offer, agent reminded me that i withdrew my last offer 8 months previous.

anyway after i made last weeks offer the ex wife has been threatening me that she will be demanding half in any divorce courts, long story but any way this time the landlord is fuming

surely this happens all the time , its not like i had signed any contract or anything it was only an offer so he should accept that this is business , should he not ?

Yeah you make allowances for his kind of thing but if I were him I'd be ignoring any future offers you make because as you rightly identify it's business and people generally don't have time to be messed about.
