dont worry. I started getting the odd white hair really early and i was convinced i was going to end up with totally grey hair by sixteen. Im 32 now and still get the odd three or four white hairs but thats it. Apparantly its something to do with the follicle missing colour pigmentation and that hair will always be white but the others are unaffected. (so i was told). I have a head full of auburn hair apart from the rogue ones.

you could go for highlights if you are allowed. With them being lighter, they disguise the grey better and when they begin to grow out, it doesn't matter so much as it is less noticeable. best thing to do would be to consult a colour technician, (obviously not poss if you are not allowed, or if streaked hair is not allowed at school.)

My sister started going grey at 18, and like verity, she only had a few for ages. She is quite grey now, but she is 35. I think it depends on how you spin it. You will always look more mature than most because of it, and so will be chosen for things that require sensible, mature students. people will take you more seriously, and when you get that first job interview, you won't look "fresh out of Uni", you will look the part. It is a positive thing, it is part of you, and so you need to decide how your gonna spin it........

Spin it good Darkkiss; Snaps coming your way!

I'm 19 and I've always found the odd white hair. I've got really thick, dark brown hair so the white ones show up against it. But thats l they are, the odd one, I'm sure you won't go totally grey. I was quite scared I'd end up white because my dads hair had turned pure white by the age of 25!! Though I've been assured it won't happen to me. You've got nothing to worry about : )
If it's only one just cut it off. I had one white hair before I started getting regular white hairs years later, I just used to snip it off. I used to think of maybe getting a black pen and colouring it but it would of just washed out when I washed my hair. Easier to cut it off it's its just one.
