Oxygen Therapy
19 Answers
Was at the hospital today for an assessment for home oxygen.
Various tests and arterial bloods. Got to go back in five weeks, if no improvement then an oxygen machine at home, for fifteen hours day for life.
Not a very happy outcome.
Th good news is that my shingles continue to decrease and definitely getting better.

That's what happened with my wife as the COPD beme more troublesome. It wasn't worse for her than the cylinders and in some ways easier.
But good luck, bonne chance, bon courage.

Vetuste - The nurse showed me the machine and turned it on for a few seconds.
What a noise! Fifteen hours of that per day?
And of our four cats, the young Siamese can clench her paw to grip the cupboard door where all the food is kept.
She drags out the treats and chews a hole in them to get her reward. Our old Ragdoll just looks on in disbelief.

Absolutely not the best situation BUT look at life’s positives. You’re still here, you still have a witty mind, you have us lot to drive you mad lol. No seriously having a group of people online to chat to can be such a pick up. We are always here at one time or another. This group has been a lifesaver for me many a time.
