Total Hysterectomy.

Hi all,
After my hysteroscopy 3 weeks ago, a biopsy was sent off and unfortunately, it came back as endometrial cancer. I go into hospital early tomorrow morning for total hysterectomy.
One positive thing, I've been told it's a slow growing cancer, and provided it hasn't reached the wall of the womb, I should be ok. If it has, then I will have to have radiation treatment. I'm a little numb at the moment but feeling positive. Please wish me luck x

Know how you're feeling - I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer 9 years ago. Have been told that although I had surgery, they couldn't "get it all" so have to live with a minute piece of cancer remaining. It feels like the Sword of Damocles hanging over you. Can only wish you well and all the best for the future.
