Literally the last few weeks I’ve been forgetting the most major, and I mean major things. Or doing them and then not remembering I’ve done. them at all. For example it’s my birthday in 2 days and I was laid in bed wide awake thinking of all 4 of my children’s birthdays as 2 are in the same week as me - and I couldn’t remember them!! I tried and tried but nothing, and the more I tried the more upset I got.
In the end I had to look on my phone to see if I’d rang them/txt them/sent them presents, which I had. But the youngest who lives at home still, we apparently had his grandparents over for a takeaway. I have NO memory of it and it was only 3 days ago.
What on earth do I do?? I haven’t spoken to my doctor yet as the last time I was there was for something random and she said I had low blood pressure but that was it.
I’m absolutely worried sick.

Low blood sugar, insomnia and I barely eat. Apart from that........
Hardly eating and sleeping will likely be contributing, body needs fuel and rest.

Please do go and get checked over properly.
Mamya is right - you must eat for your brain and memory to function properly.
If you can't face a meal at least have Complan or similar.

I have just been given the lecture from hell from Mr Smow. He says if I don’t start looking after myself he’ll be planning my funeral, which shook me up slightly. I’ve just had some soup (which I never mind), and 2 Babybels. I know it’s not much but....
The best advice I can give about when you find eating a chore is to make up little boxes/bowls whatever of nutritious nibbles and graze - soup is an excellent start too.
And remember you can drink much of what is needed. Complan was recommended to me by the doctor. I add a banana to it.

Probably not so recommended is I find sweet stuff kick starts my appetite. I avoid coffee/tea on days I don't feel hungry because they make me feel full.
I put those sort of things down to senior moments. If it's more my woman and I won't be in any position to help each other soon. Could discuss with your GP though if so concerned.
Oh...and I forgot my cousin wife's name last week. They've been married for over 30 years!!
I agree about seeing your doctor, there has been a lot going on for you. All the stress would be enough, and not eating will not help.

Try to take care of yourself.

Thanks everyone. I do hope it’s not a senior moment- I’m only out of my 40’s just over a year ago!
I think it doesn’t help living with someone who has a big appetite and cannot comprehend what I eat. But yes I do need to take more care. I’ve just got some Complan - no idea effective it is but can’t do any harm can it
What flavour did you get?
