Slight Dip In Kdney Function
1 Answers
A recent blood test has shown a slight dip in kidney function. To be retested in 4-6 weeks, results were over the phone so couldn't ask GP. Is this anything to worry about?

Kidney Disease (CKD) has 5 stages. stage one being no big deal to stage 5 being in line for kidney transplant, but the vast majority of patients are in the middle 2,or 3.
I would guess from your post that you are stage 2 or 3 in which case a "dip " is no big deal and i would also guess that 50% of the over 60 population are also in Stage 1,2 or 3 CKD and are living normal lives.
If you have high blood pressure or diabetes, then the control of theses is all you need to worry about.
Don't worry.
