@14.14 so what's a normal headache like?
I'd say a normal headache hurts or thumps. I get headaches if I cry.
I have never heard anyone ever say they have a funny headache so I don't know what it could mean.
I might say I have an unusual headache if it's of a type I haven't experienced before.
I rarely get headaches unless I have over indulged the night before. I get cluster migraines tho. They're really nasty
Talking of headaches :-) If you do get a headache what do you take for it? What do you take for cluster migraines, Barmaid?
Ibuprofen. Not that I get a lot of headaches.
There are quite a few types of headaches, none of them funny!
I was introduced to soluble Co-Codamol for a particularly severe booze induced headache when a young man by a chemist.
I used to take Ibuprofen for stress induced headaches after a hard shift in the Police.
For really nasty episodes I take both together.
For neuropathic pain I take Tegretol, but as little as possible because that has unfortunate side effects.
It is interesting to note how few headaches I suffer these days after leaving the Police.
I don't get a pain in the derriere anywhere near as often either...
