Can Someone Please Tell Me If The 11.58 Train From ...

Brighton to London Bridge tomorrow morning is a Thameslink train? And how do I tell which are the Thameslink trains when I return same day. Thameslink crashes on me when I try to find out and I can't see the info on BR or Cross Country. I bought my tickets on line and didn't know they were for TL only. Perhaps Chris is around? Thank you.

Ladybirder, when you said you were going to London I guessed you were going to one of the big hospitals. I'm so very sorry to hear your news. Not just fingers, but everything crossed for you. Let me know how you get on. x

Thank you Toorak so much. I still can't see where you are getting the info from but I'll take your word for it. Afraid I am very stressed at the moment and realising I may have inadvertently restricted myself to certain trains hasn't helped. Hope to be returning between 15.30 - 17.30.
Ubasses thank you. I hope it is on time tomorrow but they have had trouble today, at least one cancelled this afternoon.
CC I avoid Trainline on Buenchico's advice but thank you anyway.

Your question largely seems to have been answered. However you can find the train operator for any service by entering your journey requirements here
https:/ /www.na tionalr ail.co. uk/
and then clicking on 'Details'.
For example, here's a screenshot of what you see when you do that for the service you asked about:

The train operator is shown at the bottom.

Thanks Chris. I shall keep those for when I have to book again. Incidentally, that's two people who have shown me a link and on both the price is a whole 10p cheaper than I've paid tut;-) I used Cross Country who don't charge a fee. Odd.
Ubasses thank you again. I don't know how I ended up with a TL ticket only; I certainly don't remember choosing it. Oh well, what's done is done. Live and learn etc etc etc.

it used to be a nightmare because it was two separate stations built next to each other in Victorian times, with a high wall between them to stop passengers switching from one line to another. Amaazingly, the mess lasted from then till now, but apparently the money the station got from seling the land for the Shard next door went towards finally sorting it out.
Oh Naomi thank you for asking, nice to know someone missed me;-) I'm afraid all isn't well. I'm off to Guy's Hospital today to see if my lung cancer can be operated on as the tumour is v close to my heart. Still in shock and trying to come to terms with it. Been an awful summer, losing both my beloved pets and now this. Must get ready to go and cross your fingers for me please. xx
