Colouring Dark Brown Hair Query?

Hi I am getting bored with my natural dark brown hair and want to colour it a shade of pink or lilac and I am 61 but they r my fave colours. Can anyone recommend a brand & colour that you wash in or a semi permanent please that is good for sensitive scalp.? Thanks.

I think you will need to bleach first and then dye it, as your hair is dark. Best to go to a hairdresser I think.

Yup, to colour dark hair or to add unnatural colour you have to first remove the colour that is there, so bleach first then dye. I looked into it as I would love denim hair but my hair won’t stand the bleaching process. Thak to a good hairdresser, have patch tests and be prepared to pay a good amount for the job.

Plus be prepared to keep payingoing. In dark hair a pink or lilac won't last long

You will have to bleach it to white first, the pastels don't work on brown hair
