Morning punters. Beautiful morning up here but a real widespread heavy frost. Some brilliant racing today but a pity that Doncaster is still not hosting races. Big fields in some of the races and a proper conundrum to solve before choosing but got there in the end. Done the ITV7 as per, and of course the 7, 6, &5 timers from those picks. I have stayed at Newbury for my main bet and stuck with the televised races. After a good season on the flat, and a healthy profit, I need to get my act together over the sticks. Can anyone work out why the ITV7 has been posted today in a weird order? Instead of being listed in order of the time to be run someone has decided to list the first four from Newbury and the last 3 from Newcastle. Very Odd.

Also, having backed Chris Wood to score the first goal in the game v Crystal Palace, i felt honour bound to stick a quid on Christopher Wood @ 11/1 in the 1.50 Newbury. Have i done the double? I'm not a complete mug, y'know:-)

It is running in the 2.25 at Newbury Ken. Another thing caught my eye today. Lady Buttons was scratched from the 3.40 at Newbury a handicap chase that she looked quite capable of winning and prize money of £25K and instead runs in the 2.05 at Newcastle which has an odds on favourite with only a 7lb pull. Whether they feel that 2nd place and the prize money of £23k is a better option who knows, but it may be of interest to Forecast backers.
