Woke up at 5am with stomach pain (tummy button area) and was violently sick on and off for hours- bright orange!
Not diarrhoea as such. I n barely write this as I ache and have no energy. Getting to the loo is a struggle. No temperature (37.7). Have tried to have sips of water but feel like I can’t move. Not sure I’ve ever felt this ill. Any idea what it is/ what I should do?

37.7 Is a temperature. Keep warm, keep hydrated and keep near the loo
Agree with bednobs - it could of course be anything but I've had noro twice and those were my symptoms - up all night being sick then could barely move for a couple of days, temperature and aching kicked in after 24 hours. Stay in bed and sip water if you can, try to sleep it off and see what happens.
Force as much water down as you can, even if you don't feel like drinking it.
I agree with all the above posters..........could be many things.
monitor the situation over the weekend.

For anyone reading this in the future- it was Norovirus, without a doubt! Awful. But over quickly.
So it's noro problem any more ?
It's awful but thankfully usually short lived. Glad you feel better Scarlett.x
Any idea where you picked it up, Scarlett ?
It was usually small children who were lind enough to share Norovirus with me.
Small children, I didn't know that, Mamya. I thought it was an hospital bug.
Not confined there at all.

Thanks for that, Mamya.

I'm not sure. I wasn't in a hospital so it was from a person. My flatmate got it within 24 hours though- and it was rife at his work (a university).
