Vera's grandson came round yesterday and sorted out the new laptop for me. it's much lighter and faster than the old one.
that's good about the laptop, i suppose should get a new one, but the faffing about you have to do to set it up stops me from doing it.
How did you get on with the motor car.

I decided to stop driving emmie. I have Alzheimer's, So decided to stop. So I've sold the car.

I found out about it a while ago, it a while to make the final decision. I made it on the grounds that if I was involved in an accident, it's almost certain I'd get the blame even if it wasn't my fault. Also, I'd hate to be responsible for someone getting injured.

To go any distance yes. I have a mobility scooter for local running around. Friends and neighbours have offered to ferry me about. Lovely people here.
sounds like it, is the Canal far from where you are, and the Hospice, will friends be able to drive you there too.

The canal is eight miles away. I may have to stop that. The hospice is ten miles away, but I can get transport for there.
what's your local transport like, any buses that run your way, i know you are out in the sticks a bit..
