Went to meet a friend at a local pub/restaurant - I’ve been there loads of times with family etc. The toilets are oddly upstairs. After just 20 mins there I needed the loo and went to walk up this sweeping staircase. You can see where this is going..... I get to the top step and I was rushing as I was bursting lol, and I slipped. Fell down entire staircase in front of absolutely everyone. People rushed to pick me up, all assuming I was drunk but I was stone cold sober - hadn’t even had half a glass of wine. Was absolutely mortified. I am now black and blue from head to toe - I think I have probably the most spectacular bruises I have ever had! Am amazed I didn’t break an arm or leg....... #whatanidiot

I’ve actually broken my finger again but apart from that....... im literally black and blue. Have never seen bruises so big...... think I need wrapping in bubble wrap!!

The time I fell down stairs at a hotel wasn’t quite so dramatic, but embarrassing still. I was wearing high heels which I wasn’t used to. Slipped down and almost took two women down with me. Managed to avoid them, but ended up in a crumpled heap at the bottom.
