the other day i got a weird few second pain/twinge between the knuckle of my little and ring finger. i wasnt doing anything weird, just moving my fingers normally.

it doesnt hurt or feel different to use my hand - but when i touch the spot with my other hand - its numb ... its only a small spot, like the size of a 10p

any ideas what this is and whether the feeling will come back?
an whether i need to do anything about it... is it going to get worse or cause problems?

thanks
