Seasonal Shopping

Is there anything that’s sold only seasonally that you wish you could buy all year round? It occurred to me today that Hot Cross buns would be on my list - and then thoughts of big tubs of Quality Street that only seem to be on sale at Christmas, and summer clothes for those winter trips to hot climes, entered the fray. Just pondering.

"We have two products that are available year round – the Asda six pack and the Extra Special four pack. You can also pick up a pack from our stores with a bakery, which are baked from scratch in store and crossed by hand – we sell around 10 million packs of these a year!"

I thought I'd come up with something I'd like to see in stores all year round (instead of just in the run-up to Bonfire Night) but it seems that Asda sell that all year round too. (Well, it's definitely listed on their website anyway):

With fruit being imported from all around the world these days, Ladybirder, I'm surprised that you can't find your cherries all year round. (I have to admit that I've not looked for them myself though).
As an aside, I'll mention that the raspberries that Tesco are currently selling are utterly gorgeous and far better than those I've bought in recent weeks in Asda, Morrison's and the Co-op. (They're from Kenya. The variety is Grandeur).

I first encountered parkin, Naomi, when I lived 'oop north'. (Sheffield). Although it wasn't impossible to find it at other times of year, it was always strongly associated with Bonfire Night up there. It's a northern thing that like, say, haslet (which I'd never heard of until I moved to Sheffield), is now found across the country.
