Any Guesses On When Covid19 Will End?

I know this is a stupid question, but do you have any predictions?

Technically it will be with us until everyone has had it or been vaccinated.. .. Even when normality has resumed it will still be out there but in such low level it will be functionally eradicated but it could be like flu with new mutations every few years affecting manageable but significant numbers

Looking at the curves for the development of the disease, and for those of other coronaviruses (such as SARS), suggests to me that we'll be into June at the very earliest before there might possibly be some relaxation of the current restrictions, with 'normality' not resuming until perhaps the early autumn (e.g. September or October)
Same as Chris. About October when the flu season will start! I can see lock down extending for at least another three weeks and then stepped 'release' with the elderly and vulnerable being keep to 12weeks. But who knows? We may be released and then locked down again. Eventually we will be able to control it with vaccines.
Probably never. It is a disease that is now established, it will diminish and assume its place in risks like 'flu., mutating all the time. - eventually controlled by a vaccine. But 'When will this crisis end?' is different.
My best guess is that children will resume full-time school in September and I really hope that something like normal life will resume by then. I hope that some sort of part-time education will emerge within the next couple of weeks (I'm an ex-teacher so this is what I home in on, OK?) -it could be done by splitting timetables so some are in Mon., Wed. a.m. and Friday - with others filling the other slots. Spacing could be observed and break and meal-times staggered.
Generally, I think it has to be sooner rather than later that these restrictions are eased. I don't expect much to be eased before mid-May - then a gradual softening. I may be wrong of course - feel free to jeer when I am proved so! :)
