Has anyone ever experienced this? It's quite bizarre and I've never had anything like it before. For the last few days when I wash my hands or put them in water, it feels like I've plunged them into a bucket of ice! But just on the backs, near the knuckles. It can be quite painful, as if I really have put ice on or milder. It can take up to 20 minutes to go. I googled but just kept being led to renauds disease, but I know it's not that as it's not my fingers or any other part of the hand. Weird. And annoying.
Just a quick update: been safe out in the sun and I've had to come in as they're doing it now. It's really quite painful, almost so cold that it feels like a burn.
I think I've found out what it is. I've just finished a course of antibiotics and apparently it's an adverse side effect 2 out 3 people get. Parthesius or something. Makes exposed skin feel like it's got intense sunburn. After being outside today, it has definitely worsened. They now feel like I've burnt them on the oven and are very red and sore. I'll just have to wait for it to leave my system :(
