They knock me flat too but today i had no choice
Mines been bad lately. Tablets used to make me feel woozy, but I now buy supermarket own brand or unbranded ones on line (so much cheaper than branded ones) and they don’t make me sleepy.

Even those that say non drowsy Woof?
They do as well

Thanks for that Sherr, I’ll try them , I’ve been using the nasal spray type
I have 2 types of anti histamine from Aldi. One has loratadine and the other cetirizine. I alternate them and take them at night. So far so good.

Thanks Sharon , much appreciated

Just how I feel, you wouldn’t believe I’d had a sleep this afternoon
This is only my experience. I suddenly contracted asthma one night at age about 25 and it peaked some ten years later and gradually declined to nothing after injections, (of mould and pollen spores???).
Hay fever started at about age 30 and peaked a few years later when I was totally bunged up. But that too responded to the injections, so there is hope.
I had the proper tests and desensitisation injections around 30 years ago but they stopped doing them because folk were getting severe reactions from them. They were done in GP surgeries and you had to sit around for 15 minutes post injection but getting anaphyllaxis in the GP's waiting room was never going to catch on. They worked for me for a few years but the effect didn't last.
If you can face it, taking local honey actually works but the first couple of days makes you feel like you’ve made a massive mistake in doing so.
it didn't work for me sherrard
maybe it depends what the allergy is
Question Author
I’d balk at the smell of honey ,yeuckkk
