It's all been getting a bit doom and gloom in the News section so in case you haven't seen this story before, there is a remarkable 5 year old boy doing a sponsored 10k walk over a number of days to raise money for the hospital that saved his life. He suffered horrific injuries at the hands of his birth parents that necessitated bilateral amputations. He has been adopted and is learning to walk with prosthetics. He was on BBC Breakfast yesterday and was aiming to raise 500 pounds, he's now raised over 150,000. If you get the chance to catch up with this story please do, he is one determined cheeky little boy.

Thank for the link mamya, just added a bit more to his fund. Unbelievable that his birth parents, who had caused the injuries that resulted in him losing his legs by the time he was 41 days old, have been trying to get their sentence reduced. No remorse at all it would seem. Truly shocking and such a brave little boy.
I don't remember the original case.
I don't remember the original case.
I remember the original case, his father was pure evil. He was still allowed to visit the child when he was first in foster care and I remember his now adoptive Mum saying that as he walked into the house he said to her 'thank you for looking after my boy' and all the while it was him and his nasty wife who were torturing the child! Lovely little boy, so glad he is in a happy, loving home now and thriving.
