Saturday. A wonderful night's sleep, I feel refreshed and ready for the day...on second thoughts, I've got mount ironing to do, so perhaps not! I usually listen to one or other of the Navy lark tapes I have. they are old I know, bur still good clean fun. HMS Troutbridge and her crew getting into all manner of scrapes. They always have me smiling!

plan to do some retail therapy again, splash the cash so to speak, would like a couple of things, but will be content to be out of doors

fine ta..window cleaner turned up yesterday, everyone thought he had been shielding as he has a sickly wife, turns out he had a bad heart attack in February and has had surgery ! looks great after losing 2 stones...he assured me he was fit enough to resume duties, but now knows I am on his case if I see the slightest wee huff or puff ! he is returning monday to clean gutters... so spent all day cleaning insides and frames too... sparkly now..

Morning all, a lousy night's sleep here...too much on the mind. Still dark down here, too dark to give an indicator of the weather but the forecast is for a good weekend, albeit chilly today. Am living in the middle of an antiques fair this weekend - the main house, the garden next door and the lane given over to stalls. I went for a look around yesterday afternoon as I'll be keeping low on this one - too many people - today and tomorrow.

let's hope he is ok Minty, my hairdresser who i know well, had a window cleaner, sadly he had an aneurism, and died, only 60 years old, was a nice guy too.
