Perez, who I've had a soft spot for ever since he produced a fantastic performance in the wet in a Sauber a few years ago, has been sacked from Racing Point.

There's something about Stroll that I find annoying, and I get Daddy owns the team, but the fact of the matter is, Perez is a far superior driver.

Anyway...my question...at the last race a comment was made that Perez saved the team, when it was Force India, from going under, and I don't remember this story, so what did Perez do?

“There was a winding-up petition from another customer which would have closed down the team completely. Therefore I was asked to basically save the team, to pull the trigger and put the team into administration” said Perez.
