cold feet

My feet tend to constantly be cold and though it doesn't really bother me (more the boyfriend!) I've been told that it might be down to bad circulation.

Does anyone have any idea if this would be the case and if so, is there anything I can do to help it?

I've always had this, I find the best way to warm them up is placing them on said boyfriend :o)

It probably is bad circulation, I think the main way to improve it is the old, good diet and regular excersize route, boring though it may be.

I think it is a problem that an awful lot of women have ! I am not sure whether men have chicken soup in their veins but they never seem to be as cold. Someone told me that ginger helps, and I believe you can even buy electric socks, but that is going a bit far for most!

Are you a smoker?

The chemicals in cigarettes shut down the circulation especially in the peripheral areas such as the hands and feet. This effect can last for up to four hours after a cig.

You may want to give up smoking if you want to have normal circulation in your feet!

You may also have a condition called Raynaud's Disease. Symptoms include numbness, tingling and burning sensations (hands affected more commonly than feet). There is varying severity of this condition so talk to your doctor if you want more info.

I used to smoke and had this same problem until i gave up 2 years ago.However at this time of year every year my girlfriend suffers with poor circulation and is constantly feeling the cold for which she has this perscribed and it really helps

no, never had a cigarette in my life. so can't be that. even now in my warmish office with my shoes on they're cold. lol. luckily, it doesn't really bother me, just want to make sure taint anything 'serious'.
