I gave it a try yesterday - for about fifteen minutes up to the first ad. break. This first part of the programme was a discussion with her guests about three news items. They all expressed the same points of view on each. Even LOOSE WOMEN ensures that the panel all express a different viewpoint on whatever they discuss. Of course, their thoughts may have been the same but it doesn't make for good television. As for Steph, I think "tries too hard" is how I would evaluate her.
I think its a waste of Steph. she is good at other things but this is not her forte and the program itself is mindless pap. I gave up halfway through a program when it first started.
Packed Lunch? Lacked Punch!
Reminds me of an amateurish version of the old BBC lunchtime magazine, "Pebble Mill at One" for those of you old enough to remember.
TTT @ 11.50 "I can't stand the northern accent ...etc".
The Southern/London/Cockney/Essex accents are so beautiful and melifluous...and their diction, so perfect!
I like her, and yes it's a waste of her talents. But, coming from an oldie, I wonder if the shows lack of success is due to how young all the participants/guests are? I guess that's the target audience, but do they actually watch daytime telly?
