I don't have any but it saddens me to see a beautiful woman with them on her face. To me it's the equivalent of taking a felt tipped pen to a valuable painting. My favourite story is an American motor bike gang wanted to be tattooed with "Satan's Angels". Unfortunately they went to a second rate tattooist who missed out an A and they became Stan's Angels which...

I don't and I think they are vile and common. However, I am of an age when only sailors and ladies of a dubious character had them. Two of my children have them and they know my feelings on the subject -they just laugh. :-)
Really don't like them and would never get one, though very occasionally I see one that I think looks quite good. Absolutely hate the current vogue for tattoos on the neck and back of the hands: areas that always used to be left alone, even on people with full 'sleeves'.

I also wonder why black people bother getting them, as they can't really be seen, and just look like splodges.
I had a 'Best by' date sticker on my lower back but I managed to scrape it off when the date passed...
I would never have one- they are akin to graffiti to me!! Perhaps this generation will come to be known as the graffiti generation!!
(I'm an old rock & roll gen man-yea!!)
I wouldn't have one myself - or a piercing for that matter - but don't mind them on other people.
I don't have any. They don't appeal to me.
No Way.
not for me, i try to avoid any unnecessary pain
I've got W tattooed on each buttock. When I bend over it spells 'WoW'.
I`m not keen on them. Maybe a butterfly just a above the ankle looks ok. Once I saw a girl who had one leg completely tattooed...it didn`t go with her dress at all! I would never have one myself and not just because of the pain. Laughing at your response Shoota lol
I have four, although none are particularly obvious. I didn't get any with the idea they would appeal to other people, but they all mean something to me. I usually love them on other people, but you can get some bad ones.
No thank you. I have got pierced ears though but that's the limit for me.
I contemplated getting one...a word...in very tiny writing along one of my forefingers. It was for a very particular reason but in the end I didn’t get it done.
I think if people want to get one it’s up to them, they don’t really bother me.
I enjoy watching the occasional episode of "Tattoo Fixers". You get to see the worst and best of tattoos ...

I want another, but can't decide where yet.
No... I am not at all fond of needles being stuck in me so I avoid them as much as I can...but each to their own. Always interested in people whose tattoos are facial as well as elsewhere and who wonder why they can't find work easily.
yes, it's always puzzled me why bert from the west midlands wants to look like a Maori warrior
Prejudice, really. I have worked with many with facial tattoos and piercings.... but mostly with older people and they seem to have enough life experience to not worry about superficial things, usually.
That reminds me of a joke: a very plain-jane nurse was talking to her more comely colleague. "Have you seen that Mr Bloggs in bed 6 has "Swan" tattooed on his willy. "It's not Swan, it's "Sascatchwan" came the reply.
last time i heard that it was a welsh fellow with a ludo tattoo . . .
