Feeling Groggy After A Nap
25 Answers
Is this normal?
Every now and then I doze off for about half an hour in the evening after work which I have just done now. Every time I wake up feeling groggy and a bit headachy.
Does this happen to anyone else and anyone know the reason why?

As for grogginess, it doesn't matter how much sleep I get, I feel groggy when i wake up - takes me about ten minutes to come round, usually with a cup of tea.
Last night I slept for seven hours, woke in agony with what may be a twisted knee, and went back to bed for another seven hours through the day and still felt groggy on waking.
As always, ten minutes and a cuppa and I was fine.

Thank you. I can only think I have done something that didn't hurt at the time, and developed over time.
It was twingeing when I went to bed, and agony when I woke up.
The rest seems to have done it good, almost no pain now.
As for the criticism, I just cry myself to sleep every night .....
