Has to be the 60s, I loved my mini skirts and with 32inch legs I carried them off, same as hot pants, 70s came with tank tops and shirts with F-off collars , high waisted trousers called loons and platform shoes, what fashion was your best.....
And worst, c'mon Spill :0)))

I don't think you can beat the 1920's for stylish clothes, but of course I wasn't around then. I'm boho all the way, hippy chic, I always said I'd be a grannie with a spliff and a Kaftan calling everyone Dah-ling.

i loved my hot pants suits andd velvet plum coloured trouser suit.
60's was a good time to be young.
90s... probably because I was a teenager then. Still hotpants and miniskirts... but no tank tops :-)
My daughter was wearing flares the other day (shes 21). They looked great.

Wasn't it just Emmie, leave one job on Friday start a new one on Monday

I can't get away with flares Pixie,I like straight jeans even now
i worked for Time Magazine and could wear fashionable clothes even then, my friends used to call me a clothes horse, not sure that's a compliment or not but i loved nice clothes, there were psychadelic shirts, skirts with bells and flowers, oh yes.....

Arh The Summer of Love I remember it well :0)
i used to sit in with my brothers and listen to their music whilst they smoked dope.....
1960's - flower power / hippies. I wasn't around then (born in 1974) but I love that look

Haha, were you ever 'high' with the smell, tbh , I have never smelt it ( sheltered life)
I actually mourned the passing of flares! I always think they looked quite smart - providing they weren't as wide as the front street :-) Don't think i'd still wear the 'penny-round' shirts, though.
i too had the longish legs for mini skirts, but i preferred hot pants to go out to clubs. Platform shoes didn't last long with me, as i nearly sprained an ankle wearing a pair
Yes 60's for me too. All the Mary Quant styles. I had a beautiful green suede mini skirt and boots to match, thought I was the bees knees. Do you remember the white lacy boots?
i think so, they used to listen to Pink Floyd, Cream and other like minded bands, their dope taking didn't go down well with mum
Question Author
Arh yes Margo, I had them , white PVC laced up the front, a must have for your suede mini skirt with a scalloped edge :0)
I like the classy 50s look. Not for day to day wear but for the style of the dresses and skirts. I think they are timeless (not netting under them though)

I'm quite happy with 2020 day wear.
i didn't have the white boots, though they were cool
i transitioned into a mod, wearing Ben Sherman shirts, stay prest chinos, and what was considered de rigeur doc martins shoes.
Suede miniskirts, DMs... nothing changes :-). Wouldn't have been seen dead in white boots though...
