Sqad. Your Thoughts On This Please?
12 Answers
Began some months ago on my wrist as a tiny clear blister type spot and stayed that way for some time. It then began to grow and crust.
Saw my GP three weeks ago and though he didn't think, as I did, that it was a BCC he suggested I have it removed and tested.
I have an appointment at the end of January. It is now growing quite quickly with a red circle round the outside. The red circle didn't appear with my last BCC.
Do you have any ideas please? Gx

She used a term to describe it which I can't remember but she got it from her sheep. She went to the local hospital and they literally snipped it off with scissors and bandaged up her wrist.
I don't know if I am right but I remember my friend speaking about it. She said "I`ve got the Leur" or something like that. It was a Devon farmer's word for the lurgy. I remember that the lump on her wrist had a flat top and was just crying out for someone to cut if off at the local hospital which they did.
Thank you, both. I agree it looks similar to sheep pox, 237 but the closest I've been to a sheep in this covid year is the purchase of a Devon Sheep's Wool Duvet.
I doubt Lyme's, Sqad. Growing up where I did and being the only cousin to come home regularly with a tick I'm pretty tick savvy and an expert at tick removing. Not had one at all let since returning home and certainly not for the time required for a tick to remain to cause Lyme's.
I know the nymph can be tiny because I removed one from the tummy of a delivery driver in the summer but even if I hadn't noticed one, which I doubt, Dave certainly would!
No other Lyme's symptoms either.
I will mention it to my GP though. Not diplomatically. He'd worry if I started to be diplomatic..... ;-)

Thank you very much, Etch. New to me and some very similar pictures. Also information which shows I fit the profile for this. There are some interesting treatments too. Milkweed gel will be investigated tomorrow! Apart from the two hour drive to the hospital I'm never keen at the best of times so getting rid of it before the end of January would suit me well.
