Well I love mine. I've had a beard of some description (hippy scruffy, full or 'designer' stubble) for the last 48 years or so (give or take the odd three months). I absolutely detest shaving so once a week it gets taken down to stubble with a quick scrape to tidy up the edges. Quite a few ladies have loved it, for more reasons than one.
Ha ha, good one The Builder; yes one of my favourite groups. Unfortunately my beard would never get anywhere near that length! (And everyone knows the drummer's name, I suspect).
As much as I hate body hair, if I could grow a decent designer, trimmed and shaped stubble (Think George Michael) I would. But I cant, my facial hair is a bit patchy and grey in parts. So its a shave a day for me.
Many thanks to you all. I'm mightily relieved. The telly seems to be plagued with a motley crew of Desperate Dans !
I can't get out of the lifelong habit of shaving every morning.
I grew my first full set when I was at school (6th form) - told the headmaster I had a skin condition ;-)
I have had one almost continuously ever since.
Got a 4/5 week one on the go: it's horrible grizzly and grey, but I just cannot be a**ed to shave when it's freezing outside. I'm daring myself to keep it going; I think my life record is 11 weeks before I could stand it no more....
