I was about to write that I've got no tattoos but that's not strictly true. I've got one tiny dot tattooed onto my right hip, another one tattooed onto my left hip and a third one on my lower abdomen!
(No, they're not an indication of my membership of some strange secret cult. The marks were tattooed onto my body by the radiotherapy team at my local hospital, so that they could align their beams correctly every time I attended for treatment).
Other than the above though, I've got neither tattoos nor piercings but I keep promising myself that I'm going to get my lad's name tattooed onto my upper arm one day.
Me & hubby, none.
My sons have one each. One has his daughters name on his arm, one has a Celtic band and the last one a football related tattoo of Arsenal.
No piercings or tattoos at all. Neither has OH. I really don't like tattoos on ladies. Dare I say it, it always looks to me that they are patches of dirt and they look dreadful if women are wearing lovely dresses. I don't find them feminine. But each to his own. Fortunately, we have no tattoos within our family even among the younger generation.
I sometimes watch 'Say Yes to the Dress' and some of the brides to be are covered in tattoos and I think they look bloody awful and totally spoil the look of the beautiful dress. One of the Mother's once desperately wanted her daughter to get a dress which totally covered the huge tattoo on her back !
Don't be daft, smow :-). You've had four babies. If you want to check, just lightly pinch the skin over the area, to see where is most sensitive. It's a bit annoying, rather than painful, but the worst part is sitting still.
I can't actually look at someone with face piercings of any sort. Not because I don't like them, but because it makes me feel really queasy and my knees wobble. As for tongues....................................
