I can see why you like it, people like the presenter like to pretend that they enjoy debate and invite comment.
Then you moan because you don't like the form of the answers you receive.
If you are not willing to have people you admire criticised, don't stick them up to back your own view.

What is odd is that many of the people who present such arguments (having skimmed through the rest if it it appears to be the usual shallow nonsense) and moan about unpatriotic fellow citizens, seem less concerned with some of the people who REALLY hate Britain: some of those people, are seen as patriotic to the same degree, putting their brand of nationalism into practice and skating over the dubious reality of the results. And the further away they are from Britain the more they seem to be forgiven :-)

Not sure what point your trying to make, em. The person making the claim was basically saying that teachers / lecturers had been brainwashed and were therefore brainwashing their students. Although left wing politics appears to have gotten more prevalent in the last couple of decades (which has seen a huge rise in university attendance) , we still have a Conservative Govt demonstrating to me that this isn't the case.
Khandro does tend to gravitate to this side of the political spectrum which predudices his view of the world.

never ceases to amaze me that friends continually vote Labour,
whilst having the lifestyle many could well envy. Home owners, both work, have a cleaning lady, not a maid, lol... both work in high paid jobs, but still the ethos of Labour, given to my friend by her dad, who was a died in the wool Labourite.
