Anyone Have Problems Wearing A Mask?

I have no objection to wearing a mask at all, and always do. The problems I have, being quite old, is that I have hearing aids and glasses. It’s quite difficult to get it all behind your ears. Then when you take the mask off, the hearing aids fall out. I am afraid that I am going to lose one or both.

Anyone else have this problem?

My daughter was quick off the mark and made a lot of designer masks whilst on lockdown. She worked day and night trying to keep up with orders. As everyone and their dog got on the bandwagon, she eased off and put her energy into something else. My wife has two hearing aids and she too had the mask removal problem. After putting our heads together it was a fairly simple solution..
Make a close fitting plyable mask in any fabric.
Make the loops from the standard elastic material.
Close to where the loop meets the mask, cut the elastic and fit a snap connector. The type you would find on a lanyard.
Now she just unclips the mask and lifts it over the hearing aid on one side. This leaves the mask loose and easy to lift over the other hearing aid.
Initialy she fitted two clips, one on each loop. But it seems that just one clip solves the problem.
You don't have to wear a mask if you have a medical problem. If that problem is that it is interfering with things that you need for your health ie glasses and/or hearing aids, don't wear one.
My sister uses these for foggy glasses and finds them good Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation
We sorted the problem with these. Buy two or three so one in the wash one in use, one clean etc. You wear then round the neck as a scarf when you go out and just pull them up over your mouth an nose when you go into a shop.

They work well for people with hearing aids and glasses.
Not much fun if you have to wear one for work, but ideal if you have to put the mask on and off while youre out and about.

yup, that's a neck gaiter. I use a normal scarf, the big fine kind, folded in half lengthwise and wrapped round my neck then I pull it up to cover nose and mouth. after use it goes in a plastic bag and then straight inthe washing machine....but I have neither hearing aids nor glasses
Yes the hearing aids fall off when you take off the mask!!
I liked the cold days so I could wear my bobble hat I sewed a bottom on to each side worked perfect for my mask. But now better days can’t go out with a hat on ☹️
I really hope it was a button you sewed on, Giggsie.... the mind boggles otherwise...... :-)
Try these, you can use your existing masks.

Knot an elastic band between the two ear loops to extend, and wear it around the back of your head.
I wear a face visor as the mask brings on a panic attack.
