My wife has taken a fancy to these and is determined to have one. They get rid of the need for toilet paper. My concern regards ladies uses these. Women can get all sorts of problems below stairs is waste matter goes where it shouldn’t. Could the powerful water jets cause these health issues?

Barry, a bidet can be used to clean her bits if she can be bothered to move from one pedestal to another. Might be useful for you, too. What do women do that men don't?
Question Author
I know this type is perfectly safe for men to use. Our bathroom hasn’t got room for the standard bidet. I am not convinced they are entirely safe for women
i dont see how they can possibly get rid of the need for loo paper.
I don't think that the jets are that big or powerful.
No, there is nothing to suggest that bidets are more or less beneficial to women, particularly from the point of urinary tract infections.
Victoria Plumbing does one for £4,537.66

Mind you, it does include "Gently cleaning lady wash" and I'm assuming the price includes her wages...
TTT they have a warm air dry after washing
>>> i dont see how they can possibly get rid of the need for loo paper

It's a 'jet wash' + 'blow dry' principle, TTT.

It's hardly a new idea. I made a few quid from a bit of freelance journalism about a quarter of a century ago, reporting on a British inventor who was displaying his own version at an exhibition in London and then (after The Sun editor had first accepted the story but then changed his mind), eventually flogging the story to the Doncaster Star (as that was where the inventor hailed from).
Just smile and agree with her ... It's just a flash in the pan !
Be sure to pad the undersides of the treads and risers if fitting below stairs. :-)
Fine in hot countries with the sqat toilets as plumbing takes solids & paper; there is also a cold water pipe to wash & flush. European/UK bidet plumbing is for liquid only & after the main defecants are finished.
* warm air dry* lovely .
Bidets are Sooo 1970/80s. Didn't Parisian prostitutes have them. Use Andrex.
Remember these from when I lived in Japan. All in one, you can warm the loo seat, hot or cold water, warm air dry, no loo paper- fabulous!!! Trial and error tho' with the operation panel which was written in Japanese script.
you re putting in a bidet and not a car wash innit?

ladies can use bidets without danger
I fail to what’s wrong with a sponge on a stick. It was good enough for Henry the eighth.
I remember reading somewhere that the Romans had toilet spoon scrapers. Perhaps we should go back to those.

Henry VIII used swans’ necks

Edmund, that’s the sort of thing she wants. Adjustable jet rods for front bottoms and back bottoms, hot air and warm seat.
