Ed this question has been posted in parenting. I hadn't noticed before, but at the top of the thread there isn't a warning like at the top of body and soul about proper medical advice. I really think we need one, don't you?

Thank you woofgang- I suspect you are every bit as worried about that little girl as I am. I've asked her to tell us how she's got on. I really hope she does. The bit where she stated the child had suffered a dramatic weight loss nearly broke my heart!


Fingers crossed we hear from her soon and her little girl is on the mend.

Personally I would worry about my child first before my brother, as heartless as that sounds!
